Chamonix Ski Resort What Ski Resort In The Alps Has Best (deepest) Snowpack Consistently Each Year Around Christmas?

What ski resort in the Alps has best (deepest) snowpack consistently each year around Christmas? - chamonix ski resort

Unbelievable, but reports snowdepth Chamonix thin as paper hanging at the end of December each year. Are there resources available snowy Alps> 4-5 m on the lower slopes around Christmas?

It is highly unlikely that one of the lowest slpes they have a lot of snow at Christmas. The best way is probably a high up. Tignes, or give the impression Obergurgl. Try for a complex of more than 2000m to go, in France, Italy and Switzerland, or the whole season 1750 in Austria. But do not expect loads of snow at Christmas, and certainly not Chamonix - extremely low for the western Alps. Enjoy your winter vacation!

Bigger is better ...

The snow did not really happen until January at many places, if you ever enter into a risk, in December

Over the Alps has been fighting in the snow early in the season recently. Each year brings new conditions, so there is no such thing as consistency. Global warming, I think. Pick up somwhere, and only if the dam! Or better yet, wait until the last minit book and see where the best snow.
